Hi folks.
Got a question on both Nvidia & ATI cards, so I'll put this in the generic area. I currently play a lot of BF1942 w/ expansions, Dungeon Siege, Morrowind, Tron2.0, & Ut2k3(soon to be 2k4) while mild benching w/ 3DM2001 to see how system changes affect my scores, looking for drivers that'll work trouble-free with those.
I've currently got a Ti-4200@4400 specs w/ 4467 dets. Managed to get in on the crazy-go-nuts sale on BFG5900s(should be showing tomorrow, I just hope it works), so which Det version is generally best for 5900 series?
Also planning on picking up ATI 9500pro from a friend. Don't know a thing about ATI cards, so which ATI driver is generally the best performing/most compatible & trouble free?
Lastly. Since I've been running a 4200 for so long I've completely avoided the AA/AF side of things & instead concentrated on pure fps. What's considered the best all-around settings? Want a little eye candy on the new cards, but don't want to take a drastic performance nose dive.
Thanks
Miah
