Fixed. :)

I'm actually surprised at how much they're not slower than I was expecting.

The 100.54 drivers are out on Guru3D and I have them installed on my Vista (Ultimate) machine with my 8800GTX. They're definitely not solid yet as you get graphic glitches even in Aero. For example, when a dialog box pops up asking you to verify software asking to run, everything else grays out (kind of like when you went to shut down in XP), but once you click a button on this dialog box, the screens bug out for a split second and then return to normal instead of a nice transition. It can get kind of annoying especially with how often Vista asks you about software :p.

It was my understanding that the UAC prompts come from a secure desktop and it was correct when it would grey out and then come back after you clicked the prompt.

For comparison, it does this on both of my test machines at work, one a X1300 and the other Intel Graphics.

Interesting.. I think I'll stick with 100.30 for now, they are working very good w/o significant issues...

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about the prompts (that's a complaint thread for Vista hehe). I'm complaining about the graphical glitch when returning from the grayed screen. It grays in fine, but the gray out is very glitchy. I wonder if it's because of my use of two monitors, because I don't notice it much in my main LCD, but I always catch it out of the side of my right eye in my other LCD.

Also I only see the 100.51 on Guru3d. Where did you get the 100.54?

That happens even with the 97.xx Vista drivers on my 7900gs running ultimate. I think that might be something with Vista and not the graphics driver.

This frustrates me as my 8800gtx and Apple 30 inch monitor will only run 1280 x 800 in vista with the 100.54 driver. Nvidia control panel doesn't even show an option for 2560 x 1600 or anything higher than 1280 x 800 for that matter on my machine. I still get a rating of 1 for graphics when Vista evaluates my hardware. What is going on with my system?

Well, I looked in the driver release notes and see that the Apple 30 in is not supported in dual DVI link mode so no 2560 x 1600 for me til this gets fixed. That answers my question.
