I have an nForce 4 mobo and as such tend to use the features that it came with (networking, raid, etc). A while back i noticed a problem with BitComet, so i switched to uTorrent. This switch resulted in BSODs. So i switched again to azureus. I could join a swarm for a little longer before BSOD, but still got BSODs nonetheless. In a valiant attempt to defend software true to their hearts, some folks here told me, "its your firewall, its the nVidia software, its your ignorance, its NOT [insert favorite torrent client software here]." Disabled. BSODs. I admit the nVidia ForceWare software is buggy as hell, but couldnt figure out why simply changing my client resulted in BSODs for EVERY client. Well, i went back to good old BitTorrent (where i started playing with torrents) and have zero problems. So here is the Q, if its the nVidia networking software that causes the BSODs (rather than buggy torrent client software written by folks with an agenda) why dont i BSOD with BitTorrent? Any ideas?
BTW, i get better speeds with BitTorrent than i ever have with BitComet, Azureus, and uTorrent.
