Nvidia and ATI play nice together?

I have a Chaintech 6800NU and am currently looking at TV tuner cards. I don't really favor any brand, but was just wondering if the vid card would coincide peacefully with an ATi tv tuner card. If not, or even so, what brands would you suggest for a TV tuner card? (non-HD and sub $100).

Thanks,

Charles

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD idea.

Try looking up "hauppauge" tv tuner or check out Leadteks site for Winfast TVtuner cards. Something like that.

I have tried a ATI TV-Wonder with a GeForce Ti4600. My computer said "F**k You". Pardon my asterisks'.

thanks for the reply, that's what I was assuming would happen. I'm leaning towards the Winfast TV2000 XP. I just need a basic PVR, and it's the cheapest I can find with PVR capabilities, and has gotten decent reviews.

get a Hauppauge WinPV-250MCE, its a really nice card, 120 dollars, if price is an issue, get a Leadtek PVR2000 card, or at least thats what i think its called

The Winfast is a Leadtek TV2000, and it's gotten decent reviews. I don't think I can justify another $120 into this system, especially after the new LCD is ordered.

i have a 6800 gt and a tvwonder ve. it works together ok...but the quality of the recording is crap and you have to run an audio cable out from the tv card the input on the sound card so the audio sounds like complete crap as well. i would never buy this tv card agian.
