Nvidia 9600GSO Cannot turn on AA/AF/vsync etc.

No matter what I do in different games, the AA and other settings will remain off even if they say on. The performance and IQ is the same no matter what. The Nvidia control panel says Global Application, but even if I try to force stuff on it gets ignored. Any ideas?

probably a driver conflict. You might want to wipe your drivers completely and reinstall.
 
did you?

uninstall nvidia driver (control panel)
reboot in safe mode (f8)
run driver sweeper (clean nvidia display)
reboot and install new driver.
