aha, I see the edit now... that sounds pretty cool. Of course not many people will use it, but it's nice to at least have the option if you want to spend the money, I guess. I wonder what kind of performance gains will be seen in GPU-limited situations...

nothing better to do than police forums? use the forum search feature and search "quad gpu".. didn't come up.

as i frequent this forum almost daily and didn't recall reading about it here, i reakkt didn't think anything more of it...

yea, hit the "enter" button before i was done heh...

it does, but i think the cost will be prohibitive...

the other thing is that way back when we were first discussing sli, i was pretty convinced it was silly and that nv's next product (single card) would be faster than sli, and sure enuff....

now this wouldn't be such a bad thing except were were talking over $1000 for an sli setup.

Like the article says...hot....plus an external power supply....me no like. Not like I'd love to have an X2...

I care because having lots of reposts and off-topic postings clutters up the forums and makes them less useful and more annoying to read. The mods around here generally don't patrol for reposts (nor do I think they really should; they have enough crap to deal with). Why do you care whether or not I care?

"90 series driver" or "NVIDIA driver" or "SLI" in any combination would have turned it up. It was certainly on the first couple pages of posts when you put this up, so it's not like it should have taken an inordinate amount of effort to find it even if you didn't actually use the search page. It's not exactly the end of the world, and I certainly didn't mean anything personal by it.
