nVidia 8800 not working with NLE

Avid board item Bottom of thread.

It is being reported by Avid users that even the latest drivers are not working with either application. Avid has made nVidia aware of the problem, but not eta on a fix. If I find out more, I will try to remember to update this post.

No good news yet. Avid folks have yet to hear anything from nVidia on the issue per a post in a restricted access forum. Studio v11 has been announced in Germany and is compatible with Vista. But no joy there either for the 8800. Studio 11 will edit AVCHD (Nero 7 announced that too). Pinnacle/Avid recommends 2GB for AVCHD editing.
