Nvidia 8700?

It needs to have more than 32 stream processors. And a 256 memory bus would be good.

This card needs to have:

1. At least 64 Stream Processors
2. A 256-bit memory bus
3. Available in 256/512MB flavors (Not slower 512 mind you)
4. Quiet cooler
5. 200 to 225 dollar price point (only place it could fit)

Then theres the "None of the above" option, where its just a heavily o/c'd 8600 on a die shrink. (Bah!!)

Wasn't the 8700 (D8M) code assigned to the mobile GPU available as 8700Go? And that part is simply an overclocked 8600 GPU (just like the 8600GTS).

If it doesn't have any of those, they it won't be a very successful card. Both NV and ATI dropped the ball with their midrange cards this time around.

Yep, 7900/7950/X19X0 are all better than ALL of the midrange garbage spewed out by both of them this time around. It's like they purposely screwed us over.
