Nvidia 81.98 (xtreme-g) version drivers have 100% CPU usage on X2

According to my taskmanager, when playing a game, it is using a full 100% of both CPUs... I'd be interested to see what it's using all that power for myself...anyone with links to benches for these new drivers? Most 80.x I've used in the past hit about 60% at best

100% usage.....that doesn't mean it's good. It's good IF there's a performance boost, otherwise it's much worse...

Nvidia drivers started to support dual core cpu's around the 81.xx period possibly by being multithreaded and people have reported higher cpu utilization on dual cores.

The drivers offload some of the GPU processing to the 2nd core to increase performance.

They haven't multi-threaded the games. All Nvidia did was offload, via the drivers, all vertex processing onto the second processor core.

I dont THINK you should have 100%, but it SHOULD be >50%. I would try the latest XG drivers.
