Nvidia 6800 Ultra problems

My 6800 Ultra is being detected in the bios and by windows, but in device manager it says that the device cannot start. Here are my system specs:

A8N SLI Deluxe
A64 3800+ Newcastle
2x512mb HyperX PC3500
Rosewill 500W
6800 Ultra with Zalman VF700

Is my card dead?
