I'm in the market for a new vid card, and was wondering if there was a good site that compared a few NU's together. I apologize if this has been posted before.

Thanks for your help

Just get the EVGA one at best buy for 299. It comes with Far Cry and it comes at a 299 price point if you buy DoomIII. So essentially you get 2 of the 3 hottest games today and an awesome video card for 299. I really wish i would have waited another 6months to get my video card. I tell you that would be the one i would get.

^^^my exact thoughts. people say that the 9800pro is the best deal price\performance, but if u are gonna buy farcry and doom3 anyway, mite as well get it with the card and get even more for ur money. :)

What about Chaintech's? I've read that it's the only one with 2.2ns memory, which is supposedly what bottlenecks the 6800 NU. I have seen the deal at BB, and I'm now pretty much tempted between the two. I was just wondering if there were any comparisons to see if the Chaintech has that much of a performance increase?

Thanks for your replies.

The BFG 6800 NU I bought Sunday at best buy has 2.2 ns ram. Its hynix 2.2ns ram

On a side note, I am using coolbits to overclock. It will only let me clock so high and then if i try any higher, it says the overclock failed, even though things look good on my screen and everything.

Is there a way to bypass this message and overclock higher? I never climb higher than 64C in games and idle at 52C.

Thanks

Joe
