I know that the 3650 is newer and is a direct X10 card, but I run XP and am not going to vista anytime soon , so which is the 'better' card. Thanks in advance

The HD 3650 would definately be faster; the 6800GT is a card from 2004 and wasn't even the fastest back then.

You may want to look at the HD 2600XT instead. The 2600XT is just as fast but it is an older card and can be found cheaper on newegg. For $72.99 AR this is a good option: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16814102708

It's also the GDDR4 version which should be (ever so slightly) faster than the GDDR3 HD 2600XT. Also be careful when looking at the HD 3650's; the ones for $80 use GDDR2 memory, which is much slower than the GDDR3 used in the ~$100 HD 3650's.
