nVidia 6600GT AGP quirky POST problem?

Asus 6600GT AGP on an Abit KD7. BIOS was flashed, CMOS dumped, and yet everytime the machine is powered off and i try to power on, no post. If you switch PSU off, then on, hit the power button, THEN the machine boots normally.

Any ideas?
 
sorry man, ive seen this happen before to my friend. he just dumped that computer and got a new one so i never saw the problem got fixed...

bad psu? are you overclocking at all (CPU and GPU)? maybe your mobo doesnt like your card or psu. did you swap out components and/or use them in another computer?
