nVidia 6600 GT

A friend of mine has a year old eMachines computer, and he wants to upgrade the graphics. Right now it has an onboard GeForce 4 MX accelerator, and pretty much anything would be an improvement, but I think that a 6600 GT will suit him pretty well. However, I dont want him to get anything that will break his computer because of his powersupply. I didn't check how big it is, but it's probably about 300w or so and I dont know how fast of a video card he can get without drawing too much power.

So, do you guys think that a 6600GT will be okay? Or would something bigger even work fine?

Thanks.

6600GT will be fine. My brother runs a 7600GT in a eMachines perfectly fine. Not much power draw.
