Nvidia 6100 Integrated and ATI x1300 Graphics

A friend of mine currently has an ATI x1300 card and wants to run a triple monitor display using the two outputs on the card along with the integrated video.

The integrated motherboard graphics is the nForce 430 Nvidia 6150se chipset (Gigabyte M61P motherboard). There's an option in bios to enable both pci-e and onboard.

The question is, will this setup work or will there be driver conflicts because of the ATI/Nvidia pair?

In Vista, you have to use a single wddm driver for all displays as Aero can't handle rendering the desktop with multiple display drivers at once. So you can have multiple Nvidia cards or multiple ATI cards, but cannot mix the two in a multi-display setup.

In XP, this would usually work, but the drivers can occasionally have conflicts and be a little flaky so I wouldn't recommend it if you have a choice about it.

Using XPDM drivwers in Vista you'll lose support for Direct3D 9Ex, Direct3D 10, and later versions however (no Aero)
