nVIDIA 56.56 WHQL?

Anybody know why the 56.56 WHQL drivers have been available on evga's website since last week, but nVIDIA themselves haven't posted them? Something wrong with them?

They are not on nVidias site because they still have the UT2004 bug in them. They are fixing that, and will release them. eVGA and Abit are offereing them on their websites, and are now shipping them with new boards.

Which UT2004 bug?

It's just a bug that degrades UT2004 performance. NV and Epic are working on it now and a fixed version of the driver will be posted on NVs website by late March.

(and considering how the only thing i play is UT2k4)...

I thought my FX5600 was sluggish.

The new driver actually shows a performance DECREASE in the 5700u boards, in games like HALO, and since I play that game quite often, I'm gonna stick with the current driver. If they can actually fix that, that would be great, but as I recall, nVidia was promising something like a 20% increase in overall performance on all their FX series
