nVIDIA 52.16 and BF1942

I am not one to ever complain, but this is ridiculous.

I am getting this "washout" in BF1942 with the new drivers. The card is a 5600 FX

I went as far as formatting my PC and installing a fresh copy of WinXP Pro. (it needed it anyways) I still see the same f**** washout, not as bad, but I do.

Anyone else see this? Besides going back to an older driver, have you fixed it?

Thanks....

I have a 5900 ultra and I get awfull video corruption with the new 56.16 drivers. I've tried the english, beta, and international forms of the driver. I had to go back to the last release so I can play. Loading each driver I always use Driver cleaner to get rid of the old drivers. Since its really the only game I play I'm not about to try reloading my system just yet. Honestly I hope its just my fault and i'm doing something wrong but I think its the drivers fault in my situation. Anybody have any suggestions??? If ya want to know my setup you can check my sig.

The release notes for the 52.16 drivers says there are known problems:

Release Notes

Edit: Actually it says: "GeForce FX 5950 Ultra and GeForce4 Ti 4400, Windows XP: Rendering
corruption in Battlefield 1942 Desert Combat.

This fix will be included in the next NVIDIA.com driver release."

They better fix that sh*t. I've never had much of a problem with their drivers up until today when I went from the 45s to the 52s. Desert Combat will be fine then all of the sudden go haywire on my Ti4400. At least I know it's a recognized issue.
