I just picked myself up a 22" wide screen LCD and my wife loves it. I'm too lazy to carry it over to her desk and see if her card will support it. She still is running an AGP system using a 4600ti. I have a 5700 laying around somewhere in case she needs it.

All she really does is browse the web and use office so I'm not too concerned with performance. Will that videocard support the screen res?

If so I think I found the perfect Christmas gift.

Thanks in advance.

dang, you must be REALLY lazy. :D i'm pretty sure 1680x1050 didn't exist back when the Ti4600 came out, but it could have been added through driver support. i don't know of any way to check without just doing it...you can try looking at the current rez and see if 16x10 is an option on the slider...though i'm pretty sure as long as the Ti's are still officially supported by NV drivers, it should work.

BTW, i love my 22" LCD also.

It'll work.

Hell, I've used a 2005FPW (briefly) on an old PCI 8MB ATi Rage XL.

Make sure to use DVI.
