Do you need a special 3D monitor or can you use any 3D TV also? I don't want to buy another monitor but would consider a new TV if I can hook my PC up to it too and play some 3D games

You need a special montior... I belive they need to be 120hz, so you can get 60hz pr eye.

only problem right now is that you have to buy nvidias 3d vision kit, but you will be able to only buy the software sometime in the future.

Both can watch bluray 3D movies fine.. so.... you mean as in pc gameing? with 3D glasses on? No idea (/_\)

Not all 3DTV are compatible with 3D vision. It is best to check the list of supported TV on Nvidia site.

AMD doesn't have a 3D solution, AMD is supported by other 3D solutions other than Nvidia 3D vision.

Now TheUnk, if you have a 3DTV, does it come with the 3D glasses? If so, then lookup S3D and see if it is supported, it will work on both Nvidia and AMD video cards. If your doesn't come with a 3d glasses, but it is 120hz and suppose to support 3D, you can register in the Nvidia forum and post your question along with the TV model in the 3D vision subsection. You will find more luck there.
