beta drivers released with support for Battlefield 4
beta drivers released with support for Battlefield 4
It must be, as it adds AO support in games which don't normally have AO support. You're looking for 3D support?
Also is this new.. HBAO+ from within the driver?
Any chance another update could come out right before the 4th?These drivers look good but will be updating to the most recent the second before BF4 beta launches on the 4th so might wait.
the closed beta starts in about 20 minutes, that's why they're being released right now.
These drivers are fantastic.. Highly recommend them
These drivers sure suck for Rome2. Talk about a framerate his during battles. BLEH
Just wondering, will AMD support HBAO+, or is it a NVIDIA hardware feature?
NVIDIA's website only shows Splinter Cell Blacklist as supporting HBAO+ at the moment.Any DX11 GPU should be able to run HBAO+ if the game supports it, but to force it in a game that doesn't support it will require an NVidia GPU.
On another note, I think I screwed up the installation the first time I installed these drivers. So I reinstalled them again properly this time and I no longer have the crashing issue in Crysis 3.
The drivers seem a bit smoother to me, so I'm definitely going to keep them..
Are you using the beta patches? The lastest one killed performance.
BF4 def bags out on my 314.22's (ol faithful) but man when I did the 32X.XX stuff I was crash city with all kinds of games, back to 314.22 and crash isn't in the vocabulary.. except with BF4I can tell you this - you do not want to run BF4 without these drivers. I get periodic drops to 5 FPS regardless of the graphics settings I used. The release drivers do work on BF4 but there are definitely problems which I am hoping these betas fix.
