nVidia 2d Surround monitor question

Hello,

I recently bought an MSI Lightning GTX 780 and I'm now considering moving to triple displays. As I understand it, NVidia's 2d Surround can be finicky about which monitors you use. Currently, I have a Dell U2410 as my main monitor and a Dell 2001fp as my secondary. In my new triple display configuration, the U2410 would move to the center display and I'd purchase two U2412m monitors for either side. Is anyone using this configuration? Are there problems with this configuration that I need to be aware of?

I know this is an older thread, but I wanted to bump it because I finally implemented my three-monitor setup as described above. When I configure it, the configuration initially shows 5760 x 1200 but then when I click OK, I can only select 4800 x 1200. I thought that the monitors didn't have to exactly match for NVidia 2D surround. What gives?

You should be able to set up additional resolutions via the button next to the resolutions in the surround set up window.
