3Dxtreme.org has a link to a French site that now has the 28.32 drivers with a hacked .inf file already included. After installing the drivers with the hacked .inf file, you can successfully use the Nvidia Refresh Rate Fix program. I am currently using an older but similar .inf file from the same site to fix the refresh rate problem with 27.42 drivers (I get better 3DMark2001SE scores with that driver).

Thanks... I'm sure that there will be new versions of all our favorite programs soon that will work with the new drivers now that they are official.

Anybody tried these out yet, I'm curious if there's any performance improvement for a GeForce2 Ti card?

My 800@1066 Celeron with a GF1 DDR card got 1700 in 3dm2k1 under win2k with the 23.11 drivers. With the new ones, I get about 2000.

I got 150 point increase(GF2 Ti) in 3DMark2001SE now 4850 from my 4725 mark before, however in real games the speed is about the same, stability is also excellent so far :)

I have found that any drivers above 27.20 with my Leadtek WinFast A170 DDR T (GF4 MX440) & MS Windows XP Pro that I can't turn off vsync in Unreal Tournament. Has anyone encounterred this problem, or know how to correct this? I have also tried 27.50 & the new 28.32's, but although they benchmark slightly higher in 3DMark2001SE & Q3, they don't do so well in UT because vsync is somehow stuck on.

Can you post the actual link to the french site? 3dextreme has a bunch of cookie crap and I don't see the drivers linked on their site anywhere.

LS20:

The 60hz refresh rate you are experiencing in Wolfenstein is a perfect example of the refresh rate problem. Due to a problem with XP, games default to a max refresh rate of 60hz unless video drivers are modified. The refresh rate fix for Nvidia drivers removes the 60hz limitation, and allows you to play your games at whatever refresh rate you choose (subject to the limitations of your video card/monitor combination).
