Nvidia 186.10 whql

Does anyone know anything about these new nvidia drivers? I read many people got a email today about these drivers being out but no where to be found. Why is this?

Freezing bug is still present on L4D with the 186.08's, I really wish Nvidia and Valve would fix this crap..... It's been around forever 🙁

I believe the 186.10 WHQL drivers are for Windows 7. I'm using 182.50 WHQL for my
GTX 275 at the momment probably not the best performance wise but it's stable 😀

Same, considering those are the last revision to actually display anything when my desktop loads using DVI -.-
These mention a few changes in the way the driver handles EDID/detecting new displays, so I'll keep my fingers crossed and try 'em when I get home 🙂.

How are your benchmarks with the 185.85 WHQL driver's? I checked nvidia's forums and man peeps are having all kinds of issues. I saw somewhere, I can't remember the 186.10 drivers were for windows 7. I'm not running windows 7 so I didn't investigate further.

i tried inputting Win7 into the OS drop down box and i still get 185.85 WHQL 😛

i completed my 15 benchmark suite with 9800GT and GTX280 with nothing strange; i am testing further with 8800GTX and GTS250 later this week and *maybe* GTX 275 next week before i publish my comparison [June 20th] - obviously with 185.85 WHQL

And i have 185.85 on my notebook's 8200M; i use it way more than my desktop .. only one crash with the driver stopped working - since May 6th
- that was the new free Volvo racing game, i think
[cool game, i might add .. for free]

185.85 drivers have been good for me

I got big performance gains in Far Cry 2, Call of Juarez and Call of Duty 2, along with smaller speed bumps in numerous other titles.

Also the image quality of TrSS has improved in Call of Juarez.

Maybe I'll give 185.85 a whirl after I get my old 8800 GT installed as my dedicated PhysX card, I having some space issues as the 8800 GT has a zalman V1000 on it and my X-FI ribbon needs some tweakin 😎

Really? I've never had a problem. Just random complete lockups?
