I hope this isnt a repost or anything, but what are you getting for an overclock on your 8800 series video card?

i am topped out @ 630 core (max) and 2ghz mem

70c load temps

Currently I am running at 610/1980 and my highest load temps have been 71C on Oblivion. Playing COH or SupCom doesn't even break 65C.

648/2052 actual on my PNY. Since the actual (not displayed) frequency jumps straight from 648-675, I can't go any higher. Still not too shabby, gets me 10700 in 3dMark06 😀

edit: Load temps are just barely kissing 80. Perfectly in-line with an 8800 GTS.

I'm just using the OEM cooler, but I've used NTune to crank up the fan to 100%. It's shaved at least 11 degrees of my idle/load temps. I don't understand why the fan doesn't spin up all the way without doing that.

I totally forgot I could control my fan using Rivatuner, now the loadtemps are 64c on 610/2000 oc stock cooling.

evga 8800GTS 320MB @ 600/2000. idle 63C, load 70s.

using coolbits and forceware 97.92 with a registry hacked classic control panel.

With Rivatuner can you control the 2D/3D temps separately? I want 100% on gaming and low % on idle (when I get an 8800). It works on my 6800GS.

Thanks

I am going to look into that, it would make things soo much easier.
