NVFlash Won't Work

I was trying to up my Gainward 6800GT to 1.4v with the nvflash/omnifx trick, but nvflash crashes in dos and refuses to work in xp. I burned a boot CD with nero, which is DR-DOS and loads drivers for NTFS and sees my SATA hard drive. I tried to run nvflash to backup my BIOS but it seemed to begin to do it and then come back to a prompt and crash. No file is created and the system locks. In windows it says something about a PCI driver or something.

I know there are BIOS files that are premodified for downlaod, but I didn't want to do that, especially until i get nvflash to work properly. Any ideas.

nvflash worked great here, no problems whatsoever.

nvflash -b filename.rom

this is off a clean win98 bootdisk bootup.

Use a plain Windows boot disk with no drivers.

Is it a usb cd?
That could do it try to use a floppy.
