When I play a DVD on my computer using NVDVD (old, I know, got it with my 6800 Ultra) I get momentary pauses (for a slit second) where it seems like a frame is frozen, then it doesn't happen for another couple minutes...

I didn't have this before I rebuilt my system a few days ago...any clues?
