NVDVD...colour issues?

Not really a problem since VLC plays it just fine, but I'm kind of curious to know what might cause this. Basically, when I play an episode of The Sopranos off of my DVDs, NVDVD distorts the colour some, and a matrixy haze of odd colours displays around a lot of edges in the video. Things are generally not at all smooth looking. Yet, VLC Player plays them fine. What might cause that?

Could be that NVDVD hasn't been updated in quite sometime, and VLC is using a different decoder that works better with your graphics drivers and hardware.

If you bought NVDVD and aren't using a free one, I recommend getting the Purevideo Decoder from nvidia and using it instead (the license will work on it). You're using an ancient decoder, really. rbV5 is spot on.
