While using msconfig to disable stuff I noticed the 2 Nvidia startup items "NvCpl" and "nwiz". Are they required at startup?? I know that "nwiz" has to do with that Nview thing, but that is something I dont use nor care about. Can I uncheck any of them??

Also..on a different note ..I am using Windows XP Home Edition and something called "dumprep 0 -k" is also checked. I know this is the "Windows Error Reporting Dump Reporting Tool"...but I disabled that error reporting feature. Can I uncheck that as well??

thanks in advanced!

I have disabled nwiz because I don't use nview. I saw somewhere online that said you could disable it without causing too much trouble. AS for the other thing, try a google search for it, there's a website (who's name escapes me) that lists a ton of programs that people may have starting upon boot and says if you can disable them or not

NVCPL.DLL is the nVidia Control Panel used for tweaking the card.
NVCPL.HLP is the nVidia Help file (ie-resource hog) which can be disabled
