I got this new computer for christmas, got it assembled no problems. I put uTorrent on here and it says it has a problem working with nvappfilter.dll which is part of my firewall. Previously on my laptop i was getting speeds of around 30 KBps to 80 KBps but now i'm stuck down around 0.5KBps to 10 KBps, my room mate is also getting high speed on his machine which is only a 800MHz computer. I was wondering if there was a way to get around this. I have a nForce 680i Motherboard :disgust:

welcome to AT

nvidia firewall can cause alot of problems. maybe check out the software forums for a decent 3rd party app and just uninstall the nvidia access manager.

Definitely sounds like a firewall problem. I'd get rid of that firewall and get another one like rise suggested.
