I started to gain a few degrees on my nv5 recently,

Checking the screws, it seems they loosened off a bit, or perhaps just settling the thermal compound on the chips and a snugging up was required,
brought temps back to 30 and 50 idle

Just though I'd throw out a reminder as it may be a common issue,
hopefully it is just a settling of the compound from initial install and not an ongoing issue
:)

I am having the same issues, higher temps since I installed my NV5 last week. Tomorrow Im going to remove the cooler and sand and polish the copper to try and get better heat transfer. The surface was not incredibly smooth as I remember when I first put it on. I might try some blue loc tite to keep the screws from coming loose again.

That's not a bad idea if this is an ongoing problem.
