nv40 and r420 questions

ok i, as many of you are, looking forward to the next installments of nvidia's and ATI's gpu's. so here are my questions

will the next release of cards ALL be PCI-E? or will some be AGP?

rumurs are that the NV40 will have 16 pipelines whats the difference between a 16X1 and a 8X2 setup? what will offer best performance?

now, im a strong ATI guy at heart but the NV40 looks good on paper, is it a totally new design from the ground up or a highly improved current core?

thanks for your time.

NV40 and R420 will both be AGP, R423 and NV4X will be PCI

performance at this point is unknown and nobody here can ligitimately comment on it

NV40 will be built from the ground up. there are rumors that R420 will be based on STRONGLY improved R360

can't wait....atleast my 9800 NP won't be so outdated due to them using / modifying that core 🙂

I think 2x the amount of piplines in R420 outdates your 9800 😉
