Further, said the source, the fan is quiet and beats the ATI XT offering by 30dbs or so.
The Inquirer

BS. 30dB or 30db, I think either number was pulled out of a body part other than a brain. This is likely a misprint similar to the one we got with Gainward's 5800U, which was rumored to lower noice by a huge amount. The rumor was also off by a factor of 10, IIRC.

(Speaking of ludicrous rumors, neither Fuad nor Mike have replied to an e-mail I sent them asking if Fuad actually attended the ATi meeting in which those leaked slides were used, as Fuad's article on the subject implied.)

No the Matrox Spectacular 256,000,000,000 Ultimate Awesome Super Hypersonic Pro2

No biggie, The Inquirer had the Matrox Spectacular 256,000,000,000 Ultimate Awesome Super Hypersonic Pro2 Special Edition (and as we all know, the SE has 14 Ghz Quad data rate memory!)

I second that

Tell that to the thousands upon thousands (probably millions) who complained about the "Dust Buster" FX.

I would be laughing until Armageddon.

Hehehe... That would be very entertaining indeed. :p Actually, we do know that ATI and NVIDIA are gearing up for their next gen stuff (R400 and NV40), which are both going to use new name derivitations. Or so we hear.

Lol, don't take this away from nvidia, it may be the only selling point which they can't cheat on or deteriorate in quality with a driver upgrade.

I am sure millions would of wanted to complain because it was the "in" thing to do. But Nvidia only got 100,000 5800 Ultra GPUs.
And I am sure millions did complain eventhough they never touched, owned, or even saw a 5800 Ultra.
