Is this card to be released soon or will I just have to go & buy an ATI 9700Pro ? ?

I totally agree with most in here that say that when a company makes a product launch official , they should be prepared by having the product for sale a week or so later !
But as always , it's 2-3 mths. later before we actually see the product for sale !

Obviously Jane at the earliest, I'd say July or even August as a better bet of snagging one, especially if you only want to spend as much as a 9700 Pro.

I know the 5800 has been out for awhile . I thought you would see that I meant "Ultra" by the NV35 posted :)

Meaning the New 5800 as I'm building an Intel system & don't want a NOISY system .

nope, 5800 is out permanatly! But there will be three different versions of NV35:

5900 Ultra
5900
5900 Value

You might just misunderstood one of these as the new 5800

The NV35(5900 models) should be available mid to late June, the Value version won`t be out until July from what I`ve read.

dragonic ---- That's probably it ......... Meaning the different versions of the 5900 :)
So the top model will be around $499. , middle at $399. & lowend at $299. (approx.) ? ?

Was thinking of an alternative to ATI's 9700 Pro & spending $299. & no more . The new 5600 Ultra is not the alternative , correct (performance wise) ?

If the Low End 5900 is on par with the 9700Pro but won't be out 'till who knows when (July+) I've no choice but the 9700Pro I suppose .................

As far as I'm concerned, the 5800 isn't out yet; I have yet to see it in a SINGLE local store. Local stores do have the 5200 however, and the Radeon 9800.
