NV30 Question???

Well i know the NV30 will be have 8X AGP but will it be backwards compatible with 4x AGP. My system only has 4X AGP and i dont want any problems with the card. I got Abit TH7II-RAID mobo.

No because Nvdia want to sell it only to people with newer computers and hence restrict their marketshare 😉 A better question is will it work in agp8x and what performance gain will it show

I'm sure it will be backwards compatible. I assume it'll be like RAM, you can run PC133 in a 66 slot, but it will only run @ that speed.

yea he probley is. the market share thing threw it off, because that would kill market share. If you want market share you sell stuff cheap to bump up the market share but they don't need to do that. They are big enough
