Heh. Good way of putting it. Guess that's the advantage of being second to market with a DX9 card. Good thing nVidia doesn't know what else ATi has up their sleave for Q1 2003, just a few short months after NV30's release.

Obviously, Nvidia isn't "finished" with their BETA Det 40 drivers as it only appears to help a few apps (2DMark2001).

2) If the drivers were crap or "not worthy" of being downloaded by the public, NVIDIA wouldn't have made a press release and launched them on the website
3) "Unfinished" drivers IMHO are leaked drivers that NVIDIA doesn't endorse

My point . . . when's the LAST time you remember BETA drivers available from Nvidia? Obviously they are hurting (by ATI).

And how much has the REAL performance improved on your system (NOT 3DMark)? Curious.
