NV20 canceled....

Actually, several months ago I'd heard that this was a possiblity in order to deliver on X-box. However I'd say the chances now are 1 in a billion.
 
Well, due to NV20's already delayed release date, I'm not surprised!! You'll be one surprised customer as to what the PR guys say in the article tho! LOL
 
ROFL, come on guys relax. It was pretty funny hehe. With everything that 3dfx has cancelled and delayed I wouldn't be suprised of nVidia jumped on the bandwagon.
 
And why shouldn't they cancell it. If 3dfx gives up on the 6k then the NV20 has nothing to compete against. Why should nVidia spend anymore time, energy, or resources on it.

I also think it was a good choice for 3dfx to drop the 6k and put all their efforts in to Rampage. Since the 6k is/was obviously giving them so much trouble and they've delayed it 3 or 4 times. Now they too can forcus more on their next product.

microsoft pressuring them into canceling it so that xbox has less to compete with could happen.
 
This is old news. I hear they cancelled the NV20 because it's texture compression quality suX0rZ even more so than the current software hacked support found in GeForces.
