Did anyone who went to Comdex happen to know what the satelite imagery program they demoed the NV17M with was called or who makes it? It was a sweet demo for a pretty sweet GPU was it not?
 
You think you're funny, huh? You got to go to Comdex, and I, once again, was unable for various reasons. You suck! 🙂

I thought that most satelite images came from the US military. Hmmm.

No, it was really cool, you could type in any address in the u.s. and it would pull up the sattelite imagery on it, with the exception of places like hicksville, indiana. The sat pictures were really detailed, and then you could drop the camera down to a horizontal view and see the terrain and satelite images together on a 3d map, thats were the 3d demo came in. Really cool stuff actually. Check out the picture we took at the press conference...here...its kinda hard to see, but it's satellite images of Pac Bell park, home of the San Francisco Giants.
