I thought the copper also touched the memory on the card.

Why does it read "No" for "Memory Cooler" here?

not sure, but it does make contact w/ the RAM.

That's what I thought. I can even see it in the picture. It is curious!

When you remove the stock heat sink, do you have to peel off the spongy material between the sink and thegpu and the RAM? I mean is the soft material connected to the GPU and the RAM by adhesive?

yes it definitely touchs the RAM... that's weird....

That white crap will come right off with the cooler its not sticky at all. its kinda of greasy feeling. Definatly put a generous amount of thermal paste on the RAM chips when installing the NV5.
