there is no contact between the copper base of the silencer and the GPU because the copper part for the rams is to tall, would it be harmfull to sand them down a bit? right now I got two aluminum shims between the GPU and copper but It seems a bit shoddy, I have caramiqu on the GPU then in between the shims and the on the top of the shims between the shims and copper.

Do you guys have any better ideas?
