I thought i knew how to play chess but, on this demo i noticed at times i am very limited to what i can move. Sometimes I can move anything except one piece. Has the rules to chess ever changed over the years? I noticed the computer use moves I have never seen before.

Very nice demo, quite impressive visually.
I'd be interested in hearing what kinda frame rates people are seeing (Measured via Fraps).

The AI on Level 1 is extremely easy IMHO.
Havent tried level 2/3 yet though.

The AI just sucks... it doesn't learn and occasionally plays the same moves from a previous game over again when you do the same. But that's just a minor complaint in what is the most visually appealing game of chess I've played so far

The hopeless playing of the demo is more than just a minor complaint... it doesn't really have true AI of any sort so why is it credited in large letters?
1. d4 h7
2. c4 d5
3. cd Qd5
4. Nc3 Qc6?
5. e4 Nf6??
6. Bb5
The demo will work on cards from other manufacturers but not with all the features available. I'd say it's a waste of space.
