My sister was planning to go overseas to travel/study for about 6 months after she graduates from college in May. Therefore, I was going to get her '92 Saab 900 (red w/ a sunroof).
Well, now she is probably going to Boston to do something.
I am getting my license this summer, so that would have rocked! But alas, I will just have to share my mom's Volvo S40. Eh, it's not like she goes out too terribly much, plus, my two closest friends (well, one is soon to be my girlfriend <fingers crossed>) will have their licenses this summer too. So between the three of us we should have access to a car whenever we want.
Time to get a job so I can get a car in the summer of 2002...
