I saw in the Hot Deals forum about a Newegg.com copy site (which was locked since it wasn't about a hot deal).
Here is the link. I did some looking around, here is what I concluded:
1. The design is similiar.
2. Nearly the same category listings, product listings, descriptions, and product images.
3. The product ID numbers are the same string of numerals, just the letter are changed. (Example: Newegg product ID for XP 2100+ - N82E16819103329 Nutrend product ID for XP 2100+ - NU19103329)
4. Same prices as newegg (when the particular component is on both sites).
5. Same component availability (newegg has more listed though, but the parts that are on this nutrend site are also on neweggs).
6. Similar RMA Status, Order Status, Account Update, RMA Request, and Shopping Cart images.
7. The same checkout system, including shipping calculator and checkout notes.
8. Same shipping options.
9. Same shipping prices.
Now I realize this is probably a shopping cart software system which both web sites have probably purchased to use for their own purposes, however that doesn't explain how Nutrend.com has a partial copy of newegg's database based information. Any comments on this issue? Maybe I am just uninformed in this case and if so I apologize. And if you ask why I posted this, well I order from Newegg.com a whole lot, I am bored and also curious.
