It seems the whole controversy is too much for the members of our country that are just too fragile to deal with evil Confederate statues. This clown decided he was going to blow one in Houston up. "He didn't like the guy" was his reason when arrested.

"
ndrew Schneck, 25, who was released from probation early last year after being convicted in 2015 of storing explosives, was charged in a criminal complaint filed in federal court, Acting U.S. Attorney Abe Martinez said in a statement Monday.

Schneck was arrested Saturday night after a Houston park ranger spotted him kneeling in bushes in front of the Dowling monument in the park, Martinez said.

When confronted Saturday night in the park, he tried to drink some of the liquid explosives but spit it out, officials said.

The ranger then asked if he planned to harm the statue, and he said he did because he did not "like that guy," according to a sworn statement submitted in federal court by an FBI agent investigating the case."

You guys are having a really, really hard time fighting back against the fact that Republicans are suddenly reluctant to criticize violent nazis.

Are we sure this isn't fake news or does that only go one way? No. No. I am just kidding. They should have made him drink the explosives and then rolled him down a hill or something. Would have made for a great youtube vid (lefty goes boom! or something similar) and probably removed some DNA from the gene pool that no one is going to miss.

Trying to bomb a statue is stupid. Also stupid: pretending that someone bombing a statue is as bad as a group that would gladly deport or kill every non-white person.

Who would that be? I bet you're just making that bullshit up though ........ right? If not try to post a link to the attempts to mass deport and/or kill non-white people please.

Richard Spencer and other white supremacists have talked about creating a whites-only nation (either as a subset of the US or across the country) for years. Publicly. And by definition, if you're a neo-Nazi, you generally have no qualms with forcefully deporting or killing non-white people -- it's part of the ideology. They certainly don't seem to have problems killing protesters with cars or justifying the people who do (see: Daily Stormer).

Do you not know how white supremacists and neo-Nazis work?

Wow so now that these statues have come down I bet minority communities will no longer be dregs [sic] on society.

Your racism is as regrettable as your grammar.

The article, if accurate, makes this guy out to be nuts. Convicted before of having explosives, tried to drink some when the Ranger caught him in the bushes.

Obligatory Conservative plant.

Maybe if Trump would come out with his infrastructure plan already, our poor out of work civil engineers could put that dynamite to good use. Infrastructure Week 3.1 rebooted!

We cannot stand with this kind of mildly off the mainstream thinking. There are crazy people from all sides, those anti Confederate bombing nutjobs are also to blame. They are violent and should be ashame of themselves.

So you claim that this attempted bombing was somehow the fault of President Trump?
No shit. He wants to claim everything as his trophy under his term in the Whitehouse. Why would this be any different? The less than stellar job growth compared to 2016, 2015 and 2014. Yep, he claimed. The Dow Jones, yes he claimed.

All trump. All Trump.

Agreed, this nutcase, the nutjob that drove into a crowd of people and the clown that attacked the Congressmen on a playing field. ALL should be condemned and no reasonable person should be making excuses for violence and attempted murder.

It's not rocket surgery folks.

I love how this statue shit was never a problem in history - specifically the previous 8 years with a black president... but suddenly that message changes when Trump gets elected and it's numero uno priority. It's like they are butt-hurt they lost the election but they want the consolation prize of removing some statues? Good job I guess, enjoy losing elections over and over though.

How about instead of worrying about stupid statues you instead focus on not alienating voters next year so you don't lose important shit in life?
