Numpad on keyboards

I was planning on getting a new keyboard, and saw a lighted Zippy keyboard that doesn't have the seperate numpad on it.

Do any of the newer games require a numpad to work? Or is it unwise to get a keyboard without a numpad?

Just debating whether I need to get a keyboard which has a seperate numpad also (the numpad makes the keyboard bigger and slightly more expensive).

The keyboard I have now has a numpad, but I can't recall having ever used it for a game yet... but I haven't played a huge variety of games, and haven't really thought about using it till now.
 
I don't ever use the numpad for games, and I don't recall coming across one where it's required. I think if you're the kind of person that doesn't ever use the numpad for typing numbers, I don't think you need one. In my case, I always use the numpad when entering a bunch of numbers (like using the calculator, entering CC number, etc.)
