Numlock Key

One of the apps we use at work uses the numlock key plus another key stroke to navigate menus(i.e. Num-1, Num-2, Num-A, etc...). What's really annoying is when typing regular emails, etc. and you use the numpad to type numbers, there's a good chance that Numlock is off and you start deleting/inserting/pageup etc.

Is there a way to permanently enable the status of numlock to on?

That much I know. The problem is that when using this program, you're hitting the Numlock key constantly. Which is turning the status on/off/on/off. I'm trying to basically disable the numlock key from changing the status, so it always stays on.

maybe Remapping keys link may help? let me know if it does, remap another key to the numlock so you have 2, idk if that will fix your issue though, but its worth a shot. is there any way to change the configuration settings in the program itself? who made it? if some other company did and if you wont be charge for calling and asking tech support ,ask them about using a different combo other than the "num lock" combo with keys, that is if you cant find documentation on changing it for the program you use.
