Its always so small, rather sad really.

Why dont' they make the voting process longer than one day. Maybe 2 -3 or so forth. Is it because then people could see the results as they go on through the week through exit polls and stir up support to rally against it. And if that is the case, why is it so bad? To combat this they could make it against the rules to take exit polls or something like that.

Just seems with such low poll numbers, and systems being over taxed as it is, making it more than one day might work.

What am I missing, I am sure I am missing something obvious.

I cannot understand why anyone is voting for a presidential candidate so early in the election year. What are we to do to pass the time the rest of the year.

that wouldn't help anything and contribute to more fraud

if someone thinks it is important, they do it, at the appointed time

do you need a 3 day window to show up for a job interview?

Come on come on, our quadrennial passion play is an orgy of drama that cannot be rushed. And after just one caucus with rather quaint and curious rules, its our opportunity to vindicate what we have been saying all along. When subsequent primaries do not follow our preordained forecasts, its still time to figure out why we have been right all along anyway.

Its going to be a long long silly season, grab your beer and barf bags, its a long way to 11/4/08. Many a slip between cup and lip, some will live, some will die, and others will die only to be partially rearrested again. Only one will get the prize and then we can spend the next four years vilifying them.
