What a relief. I've heard about cooling over-heated machine-guns with the above-mentioned liquid, but it was naturally detrimental to the metal. :\

:p

3 independent loops, on 5 pumps + 4 radiators, and about 3/4 of a gallon to fill.

Detrimental to hardware?
I bet my hardware on said cooling will outlast everyone who posted in this thread even if im overclocked and your on stock. :ninja:

Well unless your also running a full LC system.

Oh my rigs are more eye candy then ruby's rigs are... thats another area i win. lol...

Definition of "eye candy" can depend on the viewer, but I could accept a rig like that, sans the dust. (All that oomph is hard to resist. ():))

However, I would first have to figure out how much
... pissing ...
makes a gallon. :hmm:

But to get back to the topic of storage, are your drives in the loop too?

I have around 30 HDDs, four of which are permanently in my Lian Li computer case. The rest are a mix of externals (2.5 & 3.5) and loose/unconnected drives. I probably use regularly at least a dozen drives for data & image backup of OSs. Many of the drives were discards from upgrades at my old job & some are exact replacements for any of the live drives mounted in the Lian Li and which are used regularly.

In case you are searching for some uses of those old drives, then here are a few suggestions:

Your definition of eye candy is different than mine that's all. To me eye candy is what's on the screen. ;)

But if you insist (on what's under the hood)...

i had more problems when i was watercooling them.
1. The blocks are too expensive.
2. The blocks dump too much un needed heat back into the system.
3. It wasnt much better then a fan on it.

Oh yes so where is it now? Is it inline and working or sitting on your desk? That's like having a Lotus in your garage on blocks.

Sorry for the thread jack folks. I'll hit the MUTE button for now. ;)
