Numb Thumb

I went bowling last Thursday for the first time in ages. At some point during the evening, I did something to my thumb but I'm not sure what. For 7 days straight, the inside part of my right thumb from base to tip is really numb and tingly. Almost feels like someone shot it with some Novocaine. I thought maybe it would gradually go away but it hasn't changed a single bit since bowling that night.

Anyone have something like this happen? Could I have done some nerve damage perhaps or will this numbness eventually go away. A week seems like a long time to not be feeling any improvement. And I can intensify the numbness/tingling by tapping on my thumb or when I go to pick something heavy up.

This sucks 🙁
