zomg! yeah, not getting my hopes up either, but im a die hard DNF fan, it will be released SOONER or LATER ;)

It'd be funny if they released it and the graphics are on par with games 10 years ago when they started making the game.

I think Duke Nuke'em was mentioned in the Mitchell Report.

Duke later came out and admitted to the use of HGH but only once.

Yeah I'm not super excited. I guess that after 10 years I'm going to be pretty wary of this title if it does get released. Is it going to be any good? I don't expect it to be 10 years good, I just expect it to be as fun as other FPS games coming out 2008/2009/20XX. If it doesn't deliver on that front, then they shouldn't have bothered making it. I would also hope that graphics end up being as good as other FPS games whenever it's released. I wouldn't want it to be industry-leading like crysis or anything, just good enough to be immersive by the future time period's standards. The teaser didn't seem to answer those questions, which I guess they rarely do. I guess I'm skeptical on all counts.

I think that was the problem. Every time some new tech came along, the restarted everything. I think they wanted to be bleeding edge. Which is kind of ironic, since duke3d had a somewhat dated graphics engine itself when it was released. Its not like the duke series had a precedent for setting new heights in graphical prowess.
