Then they checked the price and woke up the guy who writes their web pages and forced it NOT to be added to a cart. Don't get me wrong, I do NOT want to bankrupt Outpost/Fry, but if a few had shipped because of a price error and their automated shipping, then so be it. Leave it to the vendor, on their own, to pull deals in the future, OK?

That is what you wrote.
No need to call. That can only kill the deal. Like they are going to tell you, "its a price mistake, we will ship it to you anyway. :)

I had them cancel an order of five 400GB drives because they said you couldn't order more than one of any of their hot deals. They have kind of shady business practices sometimes, but if you can catch one of these deals and actually have it go through, it is worth it!

Whoever actually gets this drive shipped to them for $160 should post to this thread.

.22/GB deals that arent 1yr warranty Maxtors are pretty rare...

Jeesh, you didn't get in on a hot deal. That's no reason to stop ordering from a website. Wait, how about you do just that. Next time another deal comes around from them, that'll be one less person I have to contend with trying to get on the deal.

People, don't be alarmed. Frys/Outpost always have HD deals. It may be dead now, but keep checking back. It may come alive again.

Yea .22 seemed kind of low for a Seagate of any capacity.

If anyone gets a tracking number or has DHL show up at their door with one of these they should post back to this thread

No matter how many time I see it over the years, I never tire of the "WHY DID YOU RUIN IT?!?" reply. :)

So has anyone's orders gone through, or is this just a pricing mistake by Frys?
